Thomas Bailey

Thomas “Beetle” Bailey, 72, passed away on December 1, 2019 at his home after a long illness. He was a graduate of Banks High School and Samford University. He was preceded in death by his son, Scott Bailey; and his father, George Donald Bailey. He is survived by his mother, Mary Frances Bailey; brother, Terry Bailey; daughter, Ginger Bailey Crook (Jeremy); grandchildren, Landon, Ethan, and Tanner Crook, Victoria and Taylor Bailey. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 6 at 12pm in the Chapel at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. A visitation will begin one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the UAB Heart Clinic or the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Samford University.
