Rebecca Mize

Rebecca Dean Mize, age 71, of Gardendale, passed away September 25, 2020. She was a graduate of Banks High School, a member of First Baptist Church of Pinson, and served on the Alabama Board of the National Federation of the Blind. Also was the former owner of All Sports Trophy and retired as a Vice President of Human Resources with over 20 years with SouthTrust/Wacovia/ Wells Fargo Bank. She was preceded in death by her husband James Allen Mize, Sr., and father James L. York. Private family only service will be held at a later date.  She is survived by her mother Willie Dean York, sister Rhonda Carroll (Chuck), sons James Allen Mize Jr. (Shelly), Andrew B. Mize (Erin), grandchildren Carson (Ivy), Macy, Cameron, Taylor, Bo, numerous cousins and friends. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Pinson (681-9611) or AIDB Foundation (www.AIDB.org)
