Peggy Joyce Edwards Born October 9, 1932, Died November 13, 2020 Survived by her son Tommy Edwards, from Birmingham, now residing in Lexington, KY, Daughter in Law Tanya Edwards of Lexington, KY, granddaughters, Elizabeth Edwards of Nashville, TN, Erin Edwards Hill (Joe Hill) and Ashley Edwards (Brett Ables) of Birmingham, Grandson Ben Robinson of Lexington, KY, Great Grandson Aidan Hill of Birmingham, brothers in law Don Edwards, Doug Edwards and Earl Edwards, a number of nieces and nephews, and estranged son Mike Edwards. Peggy was born in New Orleans, LA, but spent most of her life in Birmingham. She resided in Corinth, MS for 5 years and her final 11 years were spent in Lexington, KY. She attended Woodlawn High School and was a member of Vine Street Presbyterian Church in Birmingham and First Presbyterian Church in Corinth. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Thomas C. Edwards, her Mother Mabel Henderson and Father Fred Henderson. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and GreatGrandmother and friend to many. Funeral Services will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville on Thursday, November 19 with visitation from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM, with services following at 2:00. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
