Patricia Berst

February 18, 1936 — August 26, 2020

Patricia Caudle Berst went to heaven on August 26, 2020. Pat was born in Atlanta, GA to the late Kathleen Caudle and John T Caudle. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her siblings Michael and John Caudle and her husband Albert of 66 years. She has the following children and spouses Linda, Gary, Steve, Lesley, Mary, Terry, Theresa and Allison. Her grandchildren and spouses are Alex, John, Adam, Mikalla, Jerod, Sarah, Sam and Chase. Her great-grandchildren are Ava and Liam. She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in Atlanta. She raised her kids and was active in their lives as Girl Scout leader and PTA chairman. She sang in church choirs for many years. When her oldest child entered college, she worked to pay for all her children’s education. She retired as office manager from State of Alabama Ballet. She was active in plays at the Jewish Community Center and Highland Independent Presbyterian church. She volunteered at American Red Cross and won awards. She also delivered Meals on Wheels. Patricia’s services will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, AL, on Saturday, September 5, 2020 with a visitation 11-12 and a service to follow in the chapel. In lieu of flowers please make donations to American Red Cross.
