Mattie "Ruth" Kendall

Mattie Ruth Kendall, age 95, of Birmingham passed away on April 7, 2021. She was a life-long resident of Birmingham, AL. She was a member of Center Point Senior Citizen Center. Ruth enjoyed traveling and spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ruth never met a stranger and had a welcoming and caring disposition. She had a sincere heart and dedicated her life to serving others. She is survived by her loving daughter, Susan Kelley (Vic); her grandchildren, Kristin Nunnelley-Bader (Sam), Roger Cole Nunnelley (Alexis-Marie Shelby) James Kelley; great grandchildren, Mary Olivia Wiley, Piper Bethany Bader, Bridget “Birdie” Bader and Tallulah June Bader. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 12th at 2pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Visitation held one hour prior. Burial will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial’s adjoining gardens. Reverend George Hill is officiating.
