Mary E. Short

Mary E. Short, age 79, of Odenville, AL passed away on May 31, 2021. Mary was a native of Birmingham, AL. She enjoyed crafting and had many talents such as painting, quilting, and doll making. She especially enjoyed hand painting personalized greeting cards. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Bob Short. She is survived by her loving children, Tommy (Kathy) Short, Dwayne (Tina) Short, Ken Short, Gina (Chris) Vines; grandchildren, Chris Short, Kara Short, Rick (Alexus) Short, Cameron Short, Dustin (Caitlin) Short, Lacey (Dylan) Green, Tristan (Tessa) Short, Jordan Short; Melanie Short, Logan Short, Holly (Kody) Lowe, Wesley Whitfield, Aubrey (Justin) Ferguson and Nick Vines; great grandchildren, Caleb, Noah, Aria, Elijah, Jeremiah, Zoe, Kylie, Madi and Mason; brother, Wayne (Sandra) Plunkett; sister, Linda (David) Harrison; a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 4th at 2:00 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville. Pastor Wayne Hughes is officiating.
