Margaret Self

Margaret “Maggie” Lavenia Self of Springville, Alabama went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday March 25, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents Houston and Ruth Wood, her husband John Self, her daughter Sue Self, and her grandchildren Andrea Duncan and Joseph Self. Maggie is survived by her daughters Glenda Duncan (Ronnie) and Jean Robertson, sons John Self (Leslie) and Steve Self (Joan), and sister Pat Garrett. Maggie is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She loved her family, gardening, and being at the Springville Senior Center. Maggie was known for her sweet smile and will be dearly missed. A graveside service will be held Monday March 29, 2021 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, Alabama at 10 AM in the adjoining cemetery.
