Ludie Hill

Ludie Hill, age 87, of Odenville, passed away on Oct. 1, 2019. She was a member of Argo Assembly of God. Her family and friends never left her house empty-handed or empty-hearted. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Hill; her daughters, Helen Gilreath and Regina Hawkins; and her siblings, Herman Land, Vernel Lands, Genuel Ray Lands, Mervil Lee Lands, Edward Lands, and Betty Carolyn Furgerson. She is survived by her grandchildren, Becky Dianne Shiflett (William Byars), Tessa Eastman (Mark), Tina Wilks (Kim), Brandy Dole (Scotty), Darren Brown, Dwayne Gilreath (Darla); great- grandchildren Alexandra Shiflett, Jessica Shiflett, Joshua Holloway, Hannah Holloway, Lucas Wilks, McKenzieWilks, Savannah Sexton, Cane Maltbie, and Amber, Tyler, and TJ Gilreath; her great-great-grandchildren, Kora Wilks and Addilyn Sexton; her brothers, Glen Lands and Gurlon Lands. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 5, at 12pm in the Chapel at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
