Born in Easonville, Alabama on May 30, 1930, the last of 20 children. Dean Donnahoo passed away on January 15, 2020 at the age of 89, She is the last of the generation of the Drummonds family of Sinclair County, Alabama. Dean was preceded in death by her parents, Hosea and Nancy Goodgame Drummonds; all of her brothers and sisters; husband of 55 years, Sam Donnahoo and their son Larry Dale Donnahoo. Dean never worked outside of her home, but was always busy taking care of a relative, a child, or someone in need. She loved to cook, always had a garden, caned vegetables from her garden, and kept a very clean and neat home, a true homemaker. Dean was a long time member of Huffman Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by her larger extended family and friends of Fairhaven Nursing Home. She is survived by her nephew, Charles Waites (Barbara) of Newnan, Georgia; nieces, Sara Frazier of Auburn, Alabama and Pat Clemmonds of Jacksonville, Alabama. A visitation will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral home on Monday January 20, 2020 from 11 am - 12pm with a service to follow at 12 pm. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
