Kimberly Gilbert

Kimberly Dell Miss Kim Gilbert, age 52 of Center Point, AL passed away on November 19, 2020. She was a Native of Tuscumbia, AL and a graduate of Deshler High class of 1986. She attended Jefferson State and UAB. She was the proud owner of Clean It Out LLC and member of Church of the Highlands. Kim was preceded in death by her infant son, Melvin Terrell Mercedez Gilbert. She is survived by her loving children, Brittany Nicole Gilbert, Jordan Dallas Gilbert, Lee Russell Smith III, and Kymberlee Kerrington Smith; three grandchildren, Aiden, Zayn and Yara; parents, Martha Marty Gilbert and Charles Chuck Gilbert; sister, Katie Spear; brother, Keith Gilbert; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. The funeral for Kim will be held at 2PM on Monday, November 23rd at Jefferson Memorial Chapel in Trussville with visitation for friends and family held two hours prior. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers please send donations to the Fire House Shelter in Birmingham. Kim was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and daughter. She had a big heart and vibrant personality. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
