Joyce Davis

Joyce Trull Davis passed away on May 8, 2021 at the age of 93. Joyce was the youngest of seventeen siblings and was raised in Clay, AL. She graduated from Hewitt Trussville High School and worked at the Callahan Eye Foundation for many years. She is predeceased by her husband of 61 years Andrew Perry Davis, parents John and Mary Trull originally from Cienfuegos, Cuba and sixteen older siblings. Joyce had a very special and often mischievous friendship with her next oldest sister Frances Robertson of Gulfport, MS. She is survived by her son Steve (Carolyn) Davis of Foley and daughter Diane (Steve) McAuley of Trussville. She had five grandchildren. Drew (Kelli) Thornton of Cullman, Lori (John) Mills of Trussville, Matthew Davis (Elizabeth Van Lengen) of Hendersonville, TN, Sarah (Evan) Smith of Atlanta, GA and Rebekah Davis of Foley. She is also survived by three great grandchildren Samantha (Wyatt) Slayton of Cullman and John Thomas and Kate Mills of Trussville. She also had numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 2 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services.
