Joseph Rooker

Mr. Joseph “Frank” Rooker, Jr., passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022. The family will receive friends at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon in the Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 noon and Graveside Services will follow at Forest Crest Cemetery.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Franklin Rooker, Sr. and Vera Campbell Rooker; son, Mark Rooker; sisters, Mildred Rooker, Anne Foushee, Gertrude Parker, and Octavia Rogers

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Glenda Davis Rooker; son, David Rooker (Cindy); step-son, Michael Norred (Laura); step-daughter, Tammy Higdon (Robert); sister, Vera Friend (Jo); 11 Grandchildren; and 13 Great-grandchildren.

Frank retired from Clow Cast Iron Pipe and was the owner of G&R Plastics, Inc. He was an avid golfer, loved to fish, and was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church. Frank was dearly loved and will be truly missed.
