Jo Ann Thomas

Jo Ann Thomas, age 79, of Pinson, AL went home to be with the Lord while surrounded by her loving family on July 21, 2021. Jo Ann grew up in Woodlawn, AL and was a graduate of Woodlawn High School in 1959. She enjoyed shopping and traveling. She was a vibrant person with a loving heart. She met the love of her life, Billy Ray Thomas and they eloped in March of 1960. Together they raised three children. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Billy Ray Thomas, of 56 years. She is survived by her three children, Alandra Lucas (Randy), Stacey Tillman and Michael Thomas; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Friends and family will gather at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, July 26th from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with the funeral beginning at 2:00 p.m.
