Jeanne Evans

Eleanor Jeanne Harper Evans of Pell City, Alabama passed away on February 28, 2019. Eleanor was born in Chicago, Illinois to parents William and Grace Simmons in October of 1929. Married to Lecil Evans in 1977, Jeanne was the recipient of a bachelor's degree and worked for Social Security where she also retired. Jeanne is survived by sons George Harper (Anne) of San Antonio, TX; Ron Harper (Janie) of Murfreesboro, TN; Robert Harper of Manchester, TN; grandchildren Marie Patterson (Jason); David Harper (Shonta); Ruth Harper, Meg Gratkowski (Michael); Ian Harper of Manchester, TN; step-children Kathy Taylor (James) of Adger, AL; Danny Evans (Suzanne) of Trussville, AL; step-grandchildren Scott Summerlin (Jennifer) of Helena, AL; Katie Smith (Austin) of Sardis, AL; Brett Evans of Moody, AL.
