Jackie Trice

Jackie Lynn Trice, age 68, of Wilsonville, passed away in her home on the morning of June 13, 2021. She was a loving mama and Grandma. She was retired from the phone company after 30 years of service. Jackie was a member of Arkwright Baptist Church of Vincent. She is survived by her mother, Barbara Cooper of Vincent, her daughter, Melanie George of Vestavia, her son Andrew Hooks of Alabaster, sister, Vickie Sanders of Vincent, brother John (Maggie) Cooper of Locust Fork, Niece Christina (Craig) Atkinson of Vincent, two grandsons, Liam and Waylon George of Vestavia, and numerous cousins and great nieces and nephews.

Jackie was a true lady of the south. She was a proud member of the Order of the Confederate Rose, a sister organization to the Sons of the Confederate Veterans (SCV). Funeral Services will be held on Thursday June 13th, at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville. There will be a visitation prior to the service for family at 10 a.m., friends at 11 a.m. and then the graveside service starts at noon. Reverend Don Morris will be officiating. Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home is directing.
