Flora Rainey

Flora B. Rainey, age 93, of Trussville, Alabama was called home by her Lord and Savior on May 13, 2021.  Prior to her death she lived with her daughter and son in-law in Trussville, AL.  She was born in Cullman, AL to Gilford and Johnnie Whitaker and lived many years in Robinwood, AL with her husband of 50 years, Clifford Odene Rainey.  She was a member of Trussville First Baptist Church and her hobbies included gardening and spending time with her family.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Odene Rainey, sister Stella Guthrie and brothers Hubert Whitaker, Travis Whitaker, and Earl Whitaker.
She is survived by her daughter Carole Rainey Stack (John Mitchell Stack),her grandson John Gregory Stack (Tessa Owen Stack) and her two great grandchildren Grayson Stack and Claire Stack.
Funeral services will be held at Jefferson Memorial Chapel at 12:00 p.m. on Monday May 12 with visitation one hour prior.   Pastor Bob Smith will preside over the services.
