Dianne O. Bell

Dianne Oden Bell, age 76, of Birmingham, AL passed away on November 13, 2020 at the Greenbriar at Altamont. She was born on December 16, 1943 in Center Point, Alabama to the late Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Wilson “Buddy” Oden and Wenona Oden. Ms. Bell graduated from Hewitt-Trussville High School in 1962 and enjoyed a career spanning over thirty years with Stonewall/Dixie Insurance Company, currently The Infinity Group. She had a passion for discovering new hobbies throughout her life, including dancing, water coloring, ice skating, piano and travel. When asked about her happiness and zest for life, Dianne once said that she “smiles mostly because life is fun, exciting and God has blessed me with a wonderful family, friends and a great anticipation of what the future holds for me.” She is survived by her children, Matthew Eugene Bell (Annissa) and Julian Corbett Bell II (Kim) and her grandchildren, Chelsie Krulik Schlereth, Caitlyn Ashlie Bell, Jack Corbett Bell and Max Campbell Bell. She is also survived by her sister, Linda Oden Griffis and her brother, Wilson Miller “Sonny” Oden and a host of many dear and beloved family and friends. There will be a graveside service celebrating the life of Dianne Bell on November 17, 2020 at 1 PM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East in Trussville, Alabama. Pallbearers will be John Griffis, Jesse Griffis, Jack Bell and Max Bell.
