Carlie Elkins

May 11, 1996 — November 5, 2019

Carlie, 23, received her angel’s wings on November 5, 2019.  Carlie grew up in Lincoln, Alabama and attended Victory Christian School and Pell City High School. Carlie was a member of Church of the Highlands and currently enrolled in Highlands College, in the Events Practicum, anticipating graduation in December of this year. Carlie brought the hope of Christ wherever she went and was always encouraging others in their walk with Christ. Her greatest desire was to finish well and to bring glory to the Lord. In her spare time she enjoyed flower arranging for weddings and special events, she loved journaling, and always enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was always smiling regardless of what she was walking through in life. Carlie was a blessing to every person who knew her.

She is survived by her parents, Tim and Brenda Elkins, her twin sister, Candie Elkins, sisters Eva Elkins, and Michelle McDaniel, and her brother, Stephen Elkins. Carlie has numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins whom she also loved dearly.

Carlie’s celebration service will be held on Monday, Nov. 11th at 2:30 pm at Church of the Highlands, Grants Mill Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in honor of Carlie Elkins to the following organization:  Highlands College at https://highlandscollege.com/eternalimpact/give/  (and in the comments please add Carlie’s name) or  Teen Challenge Women’s Center P.O.
