Betty Rowell

June 9, 1931 — April 20, 2021

Betty Ann Rowell, 89, passed away on April 20, 2021 in McKinney, Texas.  She was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on June 9, 1931 to parents Willard and Eva Lochridge. Betty spent over 4 decades working tirelessly as a bookkeeper and accountant. She was also an incredible seamstress. Her second love, to that of her family, was golfing. Her Christian faith was of upmost importance to her.  She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Weaver; grandchildren, Carter Weaver, spouse Devin, and Emily Chilivites, spouse Mark; her great-grandchildren, Abigail, Hayes and James; her brother, James Ralph Lochridge. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Rowell and grandson, Austin Ryan Weaver; her brothers, William Edward Lochridge and Joe Ellis Lockridge.  The service for Mrs. Rowell will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens on Saturday, May 8, 2021. Visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. Service in the chapel at 12:00 p.m. with burial at 1:00 p.m.
