Arthur Kellie Rutherford Sr.
March 6, 1943 — February 3, 2020
Arthur Kellie Rutherford Sr. was born on March 6, 1943 to parents James Walton Rutherford Jr and Georgia Tisdale Rutherford. On June 29, 1962 he married Linda Glenn. Kellie was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on October 12, 1968. He fell asleep in death on February 3, 2020.
Kellie was preceded in death by his brother; James Franklin Rutherford and son; Joseph Chestley Rutherford. Kellie is survived by his wife of 57 years, Linda Rutherford, daughter; Denise Rutherford Murphy (Link); three sons; Arthur Kellie Rutherford Jr. (Jennifer), James Douglas Rutherford and Jonathan David Rutherford (Amanda), grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Kellie loved trains and working on quick build Kingdom Halls. He especially loved helping out his brothers and sisters whenever he could.
Though our hearts ache and we weep in sorrow without him, his family and friends look forward to seeing him again in the promised paradise to come and are comforted by the scriptures found at John 11:25 and Revelation 21:4.
A graveside service will be held for family only on Saturday, February 8, 2020. A memorial service for friends will be announced on a future date and held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 5365 Old Springville Rd, Pinson, AL 35126.
