Ann Rodriguez

Ann Elizabeth Rodriguez, age 87, passed away peacefully at home on July 14, 2020 after battling cancer. She was born January 10, 1933 in Birmingham, Alabama to Antonio and Lena Scozzaro. She married her love, Armando Rodriguez on May 12, 1966.

First and foremost, Ann was a dedicated wife and mother. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. Ann did not grow up with a silver spoon or live a privileged life, far from it. Many times, her life was filled with much uncertainty and strife. But through it all, she was always forgiving, compassionate and giving to others, regardless of their circumstances. She loved to cook, kept an immaculate house, and was a highly skilled worrier. Most of all she loved her family and instilled in her sons and daughter a strong foundation of love and compassion for all others.

Her life was truly a living example Ephesians 4:32: “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”
