Ann Elizabeth McDonald McGee Bourn, 84, of Birmingham, AL passed away on September 7, 2020. She was born on October 6, 1935 in Birmingham, AL.
Church life and family were always important to Ann. She grew up as a member of Ruhama Baptist Church and then at Crestway Baptist Church after she married her second husband Johnny in 1979. They were active members there. Late in her life she still attended Sunday School where she lived and studied the Bible. Her faith carried her through the hard times and happy times in her life.
She will be missed by her stepchildren Mark (Cheryl) Bourn, Teri (Eddie) Absher, and Jeff (Phyllis) Bourn and her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charlie Mack McGee, Sr. and John W. Bourn, Jr.; her son, Charlie Mack (“Spade”) McGee, Jr; parents, Leonora Barksdale McDonald Hicks and Joseph Lindor McDonald.
The family would like to thank all those who loved and stayed in touch with her through the years. We are especially appreciative of the loving and competent staff at Greenbriar at the Altamont the past 7 years and the friends she made there.
