Winston Byers

Winston Barnes Byers, age 81 of Birmingham, AL passed away on November 27, 2015. He was a U.S. Marine and a Mason. He retired from Old Dominion Truck Lines. He is survived by his wife, Susan Byers; children, Terri Walker (Perry), Monti Blalock (John), Mindy Kieren (Shawn) and Bill Poppin (Rhonda); grandchildren, Robbie (Samantha), Michelle (Eric), Melinda (Chris), Rachael (Gabe), Emily and Blake; great grandchildren, Season, Lindsey, Trey, Skye, Carley, Aubrey, Caleb and Grady. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 29, 2015 from 5 to 7 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be on Monday at 10 AM at Jefferson Memorial. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. Larry Wimberly will be officiating over the service. The family would like to give a special thanks to Lakeside Hospice for their love and support. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lakeside Hospice. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
