Wilson Shields

Wilson "Mann" Shields, age 72, of Springville, passed away July 8, 2011. He was a member of Community Baptist Church and the American Legion. He served in the US Army in the 173rd Airborne in Korea and Vietnam. Services will be on Saturday July 16 at 1pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Springville Community Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 pm until 7pm Friday at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Shields, daughters Rebecca, Lani, Nissa, Dana, and Sandra, sons Wayne, Wilson Jr., and Ronnie, sisters Creola, Dortha, and Brenda, brothers Robert, Ozzie, Charlie, and Alton, 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and best friend since childhood Charles Nix.
