Wilodene Barnette

Wilodene Stephens Barnette, age 90 of Birmingham, AL passed away on March 27, 2011. She was a member of Kingwood Church in Alabaster, AL and was formerly a member of Ruhama Baptist Church and South Roebuck Baptist Church. She retired as a teacher from the Birmingham School System with 30 years of service. She is survived by her son, Stephen Barnette (Sissy); daughter, Lynne DeShazo (Danny); grandchildren, Melissa Kittrell, Stephanie Fountain, Leigh Morgan, Joey Barnette, and Kendall Knight; 6 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 from 1 to 2PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Pastor Ron Cox will be officiating over the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
