William Winslett

Winslett, William (Bill) (Dubby), age 71, of Moody (formerly of Opelika, AL), passed away October 9, 2008. He retired from Southern Natural Gas Company after 35 years of employment. He was an avid member of Central Alabama Rod & Custom Car Club, member of Knights of Columbus, BPO Elks Club and CEO of 3-D Automotive. He is survived by his wife Shirley; daughters, Tammie Cannova (Tony), Denise Meek (Bill), Diane Johnson (Neal); son, Barry Winslett (Janet); his mother, Annie M. Winslett; brothers Joe and Harold; sisters, Anne Koenig and Jane Winslett. He has 9 surviving grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October12 at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville at 5PM. Funeral mass will be held at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, Leeds AL on Monday, October 13 at 10AM.
