William Strickland

William Malcolm Strickland, age 75, of Oneonta, AL (formerly of Pinson) passed away May 13, 2009. He served in the United States Air Force and was retired from Southern Railroad. Mr. Strickland was preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm T. and Jessie H. Strickland. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Muriel Picard Strickland; daughter, Sandra (Kempf) Poole of Brandon, MS; son, William M. (Robyn) Strickland, Jr. of Oneonta, AL; grandchildren, Mitch (Amy) Holland, Ashley Strickland, Trey Strickland, Brittney (Caleb) Waid, Trent Holland, & Brent Strickland; great grandchild, Carson Strickland; sister, Carol McGee of North Augusta, SC. Visitation will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, May 16, 2009 from 2:00PM-3:00PM. Graveside services will be held at 3:00PM in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East, with Pastor Caleb Waid of RidgeCrest Baptist Church officiating.
