William P. “Bubba” Bazzano passed away on August 5, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with kidney disease. He was 55 years old.

Bubba was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He is survived by his beloved wife, Tina; his daughter, Kelsey Bazzano and her partner, Dalton Fleetwood; his cherished grandchildren, Asher and Ellie; his mother, Nancy Bazzano; his sisters, Lisa Fergerson and her husband, Al, and Renay Musso and her husband, Shaun; as well as many extended family members and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved father, William A. Bazzano.

Bubba absolutely adored his parents. Following his father’s passing, he lovingly cared for his mother with tremendous devotion. His family was always at the center of his life, and he found his greatest joy in spending time with those he loved. During the final years of his life, while bravely facing kidney disease, his grandchildren, Asher and Ellie, brought him immeasurable happiness.

A talented and hardworking man, Bubba was always building, repairing, creating, or improving something. Whether he was making his granddaughter’s bassinet, completing home upgrades, working in the yard, or tending to his garden, he poured his heart into everything he did. He also enjoyed growing and canning food, which his family always looked forward to receiving.

Bubba loved fishing, watching sports—especially football—listening to Christian and country music. Those who knew him can easily imagine that he is already on a boat in Heaven, fishing alongside his dad.

Bubba had a strong and unwavering faith. He was at peace and ready to go to Heaven when he was called home. He was deeply loved and cherished by his family and friends, and his kindness, devotion, strength, and generous spirit will be missed by many.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Bubba’s memory to the Alabama Kidney Foundation.
