William H. "Bill" Glass

Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 13th, at 1:00 PM, at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home for William H. "Bill" Glass, age 70, of Cullman, who passed away Friday, May 8th, 2026. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home at noon until the time of service. Arrangements under the direction of Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens.

Bill was a devoted husband, father, son, and brother who lived his life grounded in his Christian faith and deep love for his family. He faithfully served the community as a firefighter with the Birmingham Fire Department for 25 years, and later continued his service with the state of Alabama as a firefighter. Bill will be remembered for his dedication, strength, and unwavering commitment to both his family and those he served. 

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Glass; son, Brett Glass; sister, Laura Clay; and a host of nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his son, William Scott Glass; and his parents, William and Ruth Glass.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Bill's memory be made to Daystar Church-200 Daystar Dr, Cullman, AL 35057.
