Wendy Mahoney

Wendy Michelle Mahoney, age 40 of Birmingham, AL won her battle on earth on December 12, 2014. She was a member of Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church. She was member of the Clay-Chalkville Band Boosters. She was a founding member of the Ladies Auxiliary to Birmingham Fire Fighters Association IAFF Local #117. She was a devoted wife and mother and she is survived by her husband, Edward V. Mahoney; daughters, Samantha Ashton Mahoney, Madelyn Grace Mahoney, and Karlye Michelle Mahoney; father, Tom Uhls; mother, Linda Schoonover; father-in-law, Daniel R. Mahoney; mother-in-law, Linda Mahoney Reece; and many other family members. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 from 5 to 7PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be on Thursday at 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. Mike Carver and Chaplain Doug Lawrence officiating.
