Wayne Cooner

Mr. Wayne Cooner, age 80, of Clay, AL passed away on July 6, 2015. Mr. Cooner was a lifelong Baptist and a member of Huffman Baptist Church. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jerri Cooner; and his 2 sons, Timothy Wayne Cooner and Jason Ryan Cooner; and a host of nieces, nephews and other friends and family. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 12:00pm at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville, with Rev. Larry Smith officiating. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Calvary Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
