Wanda Browning Dansby

Wanda Browning Dansby, age 90, passed away after a brief illness on April 19, 2026. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Argo. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.Y. and Elsie Browning and her six siblings as well as her husband of 45 years, John Dansby. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Dean) Sides and Rachel (Ron) Freeman; grandchildren Melynda (Dennis) Schauer, John (Jen) Sides, Luke (Kayla) Sides, Joseph Freeman, Will (Sophie) Freeman and was “Gigi” to 9 great grandchildren.She was known for her love of God, family, her church, her smile, and her kindness. She will be missed greatly by family and friends who take comfort in knowing that she is now with Jesus. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, April 24, 2026 at Jefferson Memorial East Chapel, Paul Brasher officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Baptist Church, in her memory.
