V. GERALD Johnson "VG", age 77, of El Paso, TX, passed away February 16, 2018. He was a retired Trial Attorney and former Birmingham, AL Police Officer. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents Vreeland Samuel and Lilian Gaines Johnson and his wife of 44 years Janet H Johnson. Services will be held on Saturday February 24 at 12pm at the Jefferson Memorial Gardens Chapel. Visitation will be from 11am until 12pm Saturday. He is survived by his loving sons Gerald Patrick (Moriah) Johnson, Michael K. Johnson, granddaughter Mackenzie Leigh, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
