Mrs. Velma L. Hodge, age 74 of Center Point, died Thursday, September 4, 2014. She was a graduate of Woodlawn High School and a retired employee of HealthSouth. Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda (Barry) Gillenwater; two sons; Douglas (Jennifer) Hodge and Terry (Kristi) Hodge; grandchildren; Justin (Loni), Trevor, Cole, Chelsea, Brittany, Dalton and Evan; great-grandchildren, Hudson, Ava and Colton; two sisters, Shelba (Thomas) Tatum and Kathleen (Fred) Harris; numerous nieces, nephews & cousins. Memorial graveside services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Jefferson Memorial East directing the services.
