Valerie M. Knighton, age 56 of Pinson, AL passed away on September 18, 2016. She volunteered for Sunlight Center in Jemison, AL for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Tamara Gray (Chris); son, Michael Guthrie; father, Cliff Moore; sister, Paula Moore; brothers, Terry Moore and Robert Moore. Services will be on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 12 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
