Thomas Berry

Thomas M. Berry, age 83, of Birmigham passed away on Oct. 18, 2023. Tom was a retired police officer with the City of Birmingham and the City of Tarrant. He was a honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Army. One of Mr. Berry's hobbies was shooting and his main hobby was watching his baby girl growup and become a mother herself.

He was preceded in death by his wife Sandy Berry, his parents Albert and Mary Berry and one daughter Cindy Sharp. He is survived by his daughter Melissa Berry Jackson and her husband Todd Hyle; Grandson Thomas Cecil Jackson; a son, Darryl Berry and grandson Brian Brodie; brother, Bob (Alma) Berry; niece Vanessa (Marquese) Jackson; nephew Nick (Bridget) Berry;niece Tonya McNair

Visitation will be on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. There will be a funeral service at 2:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in the Chapel. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers and plants the family ask donations be made to the Magic Moments.
