Mrs. Thelma Sweatt Brock, age 92 of Moody died Sunday, February 16, 2014. Mrs. Brock enjoyed quilting, taking care of family, friends, those in need and cooking . Mrs. Brock was preceded in death by her husband Roy E. Sweatt, her son, Roger Sweatt,; two grandchildren, Crystal Sweatt and Ginger Sweatt. Survivors include two sons, Roy Sweatt and his wife Barbara and Terrill Sweatt; four grandchildren, Angie Lawrence, Clint Sweatt, Fonda Sweatt, Shawn Sweatt; 14 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Chapel with Revs. Mark Ramey and Terry Burrell officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Clint Sweatt, David Powell, Mark Lawrence, Justin Wilson, Josh Wilson and Bill Watson. Jefferson Memorial East directing the services.
