Tandy Singleton

December 5, 1965 — February 2, 2022

Tandy Carter Singleton passed away on February 2nd, 2022 at age 56.  He was born in Birmingham, AL on December 5th, 1965.

He was preceded in death by his father Peter Singleton; brother Timothy K. Singleton; uncle Johnny Singleton; aunt Mary Jo Singleton; grandparents Robert Kimbrough, Willie Mae Kimbrough, Merle Singleton, Ola Bell Fuqua Singleton.  He is survived by his mother Evelyn Singleton; niece Laykin Welch; great nephew Domonic Welch; aunts and uncles Charles Kimbrough, Lynn (Cathy) Kimbrough, David (Mary K.) Kimbrough, Kay Alford, Tommy (Jeanette) Kimbrough, James O. Singleton, Dorothy Singleton, Randy Singleton, Mary Nancy (Jerry) Nelson, Patsy Garrison, many cousins and friends.

Tandy was known for his love for Alabama football and the Dallas Cowboys.  He participated as one of the poster children for the 1960’s Cerebral Palsy Telethon and was honored to hold the torch in the 1982 Special Olympics.

Visitation will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 1:30PM – 2:00PM.  Chapel service begins at 2:00PM with burial to follow.  Bro. George Weeks will officiate.
