Sylvia Batson

Sylvia Carol Batson, age 80, of Pell City passed away on May 13, 2020. She was preceded in death by her father, Johnie Belvin; her mother, Irene Kelly Belvin; and her step-mother, Ruby Dell Belvin. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Larry L. Batson; her sons, James Hickerson and Michael Hickerson (Cindy); her grandchildren, Holly Hickerson, Jessica Kirkpatrick (Michael), Austen Hickerson, and Eli Hickerson; one great-grandchild, Malachi Muller; and her brother, Tom Belvin (Nancy). Funeral service will be held on May 15 at 10am at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville, with a visitation being held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Forest Crest Cemetery.
