Sybil Mcgowin

Sybil McGowin of Suwanee, Georgia passed away peacefully at the age of 80 on November 20, 2022. She graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1960. She met the love of her life, Carson McGowin, and they married in 1961. She retired as an administrative assistant at SouthTrust Bank. She is survived by children Jeannie McGowin (Kim) of Southwick, MA, Janice (Steven) Rousseau of Suwanee, GA as well as grandchildren Amelia and Thomas. She is also survived by her brothers Jackson (Judy) Hill of Birmingham, AL, Nicholas (Olga) Hill of Odenville, AL, Ronald (Linda) Hill of Orange Beach, AL and many nieces and nephews. Sybil was predeceased by her husband in 2004 and by her brother Daniel Hill in 2017.

Sybil enjoyed celebrating holidays with her family and playing card games with her friends. She was an avid book lover and enjoyed listening to music.
