S.W. Beshears

June 9, 1929 — December 10, 2025

S.W. Beshears, age 96, passed away on December 10, 2025. He was a member of Huffman Baptist Church and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Mr. Beshears retired from Lamson and Sessions Nut and Bolt. He loved gardening, picking his tomatoes, and working on lawn mowers. He was preceded in death by his parents Pluma and George Beshears; daughter, Reba K. Moran; grandchild, Chad Moran; great-granddaughter, Chloe Beshears and a sister Dorothy Phillips.

Mr. Beshears is survived by his wife Harriet Beshears; son, George Beshears; three grandchildren, Steven (Whitney) Beshears, Christina (Michael) Smith, Amy (Brian) Hill; five great-grandchildren, Noah Beshears, Hudson Beshears, Jacob Smith, Kimberly Smith and Alyssa Hill.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. There will be a Chapel service at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Bill Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be George Beshears, Steven Beshears, Noah Beshears, Michael Smith, Brian Hill and Jacob Smith.
