Sue Barr

Sue McLemore Barr, age 79, of Pinson, passed away January 28, 2013. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church. After 20 years, she retired from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Services will be January 31, at 10am in the Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 5pm until 7pm Wednesday. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Earl Barr. She is survived by her children Teresa (Kevin) Dresely, Melinda (Doug) Varner, Lori (Robert) Hebson, Wayne Eric (Chairyll) Barr, Jonathan Barr, sister Edith McLemore Purvis, grandchildren Bethany Dresely, Jeffrey Dresely, Alysha Barr, Austin Barr and Marissa Hebson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John's United Methodist Church. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
