Stuart Street

Street, Stuart Blake "Stu". age 44, of Birmingham, passed away August 3, 2008 resulting from injuries he sustained in a motorcycle accident. He attended Briarwood Presbyterian Church and grew up at Huffman Baptist Church. He volunteered his time teaching English to international students at Briarwood. He was employed by ARISTOI. He was a member of USTA and a supporter of fine arts. He once lived in Barcelona, Spain where he developed a love for the Spanish people. He will truly be missed by his many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. L.L. Cofield and Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Street. Services will be on Wednesday, August 6th at 11am at Briarwood Presbyterian Church with burial in Jefferson Memorial Trussville. Visitation will be from 5 until 7pm Tuesday at Jefferson Memorial Trussville. He is survived by his parents Richard and Katie Street of Birmingham, sister Sharen Alfano (Jerry) of Atlanta, brother Rich Street (Leesa) of Birmingham, nieces Christen (Ryan), Anna, Kathleen, Jeri, Jessica (Adam), Gabrielle, nephew Sterling, great-niece Mamie, great-nephew Luke, love of his life Lisa and her daughter Sadie, and his canine companion Bianca and close friend Allen.
