Stephen Langdon

Stephen Thomas Langdon, age 47, passed away October 21, 2025. He was born to Thomas Langdon and Yvonne James on December 13, 1977, in Huntington, England. He was a student at Huffman High School and Jefferson State Community College both located in Birmingham, Alabama. Stephen worked in numerous retail businesses predominantly in furniture and warehouse delivery services.

Services will be held at Household of Faith Church, 7501 Division Avenue, Birmingham, Alabama on Wednesday, October 29th at 10am with visitation from 5pm until 7pm Tuesday October 28th at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens,1591 Gadsden Highway, Birmingham, Alabama 35235.

Stephen was preceded in death by his son Dalen Langdon, Father, Mother, and sister Carina Langdon.

He is survived by his son Connor Langdon, father Dr. Thaddeus James Jr., siblings David Langdon (Shay), Kameka Marshall (Ron), LaTangala James, and Brandon James (Nicole Fraleigh), nieces and nephews Julie Langdon (Abby), Jhiron Marshall, Sarah Langdon, Keturah Crump, Wesleigh Washington, Jadah Marshall, Trinity Crump, Jazzmyn Crump, Kyrie Langdon, great nieces and nephews, Chananiy Crump, Ryikk Brown, and Nesya Crump, uncle and aunt Malcomb Webster (Shelia), Aunt Sharon Pridmore (Dave), his dear friend Pete, foster nephew Fred Harris, and numerous cousins, family, and friends throughout the world.

Stephen was kind, funny, hardworking, and loved by everyone he met. He was ever the protector, always trying to shield friends and family from the harshness of life, especially in his last few months. Stephen’s untimely passing has left an enormous hole in the lives of his family, friends, and everyone who was lucky to know and love him.
