Stacey was the beloved daughter of Wayne & Evelyn Smith. She passed away at the age of 43 on Monday, February 3rd. She was a resident of Pinson, AL & was recently visiting her family vacation home in Panama City Beach, FL during the time of her passing. She was a member of the Abundant Life Community Church in Panama City, FL.

Stacey was a fun loving, caring person with an extremely giving heart. She had a passion for helping animals & people in need, & she never met a stranger.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Wayne & Ethel Smith & James & Lucille Taylor; one uncle, Darol Smith.

She is survived by her parents, Wayne & Evelyn Smith; one brother, Brandon Smith; one niece, Addisyn Smith; four nephews: Jeremiah, Micah, Chandler, & Isaiah Smith; two uncles, Edward Taylor (Julie) & Harvey Taylor (Kay); a very special friend, Ashley Callaway, and a host of extended family & friends.

The family will receive friends from 10am until 12pm at Jefferson Memorial Chapel on Saturday, Feb. 8th. A graves side service will follow at Rock Springs Methodist Cemetery in Blountsville, AL at 2:30pm. Rev. Jerry Hackney is officiating. The family does appreciate the gift of flowers but would like to request that for those who would rather give a contribution to a charity in Stacey's name to please give to the Birmingham Humane Society.
