Silas Young Jr

Silas M. Young, Jr., age 78, of Tarrant, AL died December 6, 2013. Mr. Young was a minister for over 27 years. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dinah Y. Greene; and daughter-in-law, Karen Young. Survivors include his wife, Thelma Young; daughter, Kristy Davis (Shawn); son, Tim Young (Tim); grandchildren, Kimberly Young, Justin Greene, Eric Young, Clayton Davis, Madelyn Grace; numerous nieces and nephews; and his sister, Betty Leopard (Raymond). Visitation will be Monday, December 9 from 11-12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. The service will be at 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel with Reverend J. R. Finney II and Sister Kay officiating followed the burial at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
