Shirley Robbins Sawyer, age 72 of Chelsea, AL passed away on January 4, 2016. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and she retired from Alabama Power Company. She is survived by her husband, Charles Joseph Sawyer, Jr.; son, Joseph Ronald Sawyer (Leslie); brother, Thomas Eugene Robbins (Mary Lynne); grandchildren, Anna Grace Sawyer, William Joseph Sawyer and Andrew Benjamin Sawyer. Services will be on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 10 AM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Brother Tim Cox will be officiating over the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
