On March 9, 2014 Shirley Powell joined husband Sherrill Powell in heaven. She leaves behind a son Buddy Little, daughter Vonda Adcock (Ryan), stepdaughters Tina Brazell (Kenneth), Judy Day (Brad), Melinda Doriety (Craig), grandchildren Trent Little, Patrick Rogers, Molly and Conner Day, Devin and Tyler Doriety and sisters and friend Wanda Glass and Virge Smith (John) and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13, starting at 11am with a chapel service following. Reverend Greg Wolford officiating. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
