Shirley Meeks

Shirley Ann Curtis Meeks, age 80 of Albertville, AL passed away on August 20, 2016. She was a member of Springville United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Meeks, mother, Hazel Curtis and her daughters, Jeannie Ann Gowens and Penny England. She is survived by her children, Mark Griffis (Lana), Steven Dickey, Sr., Alex Guthrie, LaVelle Mitchell (Danny), Michelle Caldwell and Celeste Powell (Jerry); grandchildren, Matthew Gowens (Becky), Ross Guthie, Michelle Guthrie, Sara Rouse, Steven Dickey, Jr., Robert Dickey, Nate Mitchell,Blake Guthrie, Amanda Clark Pruitt and William Andrew Clark. Services will be on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 2 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
