Shirley King, age 85, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away on August 26, 2026.

Born on May 5, 1941 in Mississippi, She was the child of Henry McCreight and Lucille McCreight

She worked at GUIDE ONE as an insurance agent. She married Bobby King in 1996, and together they shared 30 wonderful years.

Shirley was a loving, supportive, and fun mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family was her greatest passion and she was unable to contain how incredibly proud she was of them.

She is survived by husband, Bobby King, son Charles Reeves III (Jordan), step sons Buddy King (Kelly), Jeff King (Mary) King, Grandchildren Megan Reeves, Baylee Polson (Ryan), Cross Cantor, David Reeves (Kelsey), Kathleen Ferrelli (Will), Kennedy King, Kassidy King, Andrew King, Allie King, Katie King Hood (Chris), Nathan King, Rachel King and Hannah Newman (Michael), eight great grand children niece Mary Dodd (Mike), great nephew Michael Dodd (Stacey) great niece Melissa Dodd. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Reeves II, Brother David McCreight, Sister Sue Hogan, Son David Glenn Reeves and Daughter in law Claire Reeves.

A celebration of life will be held at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville on Saturday, September 5, 2026 Visitation at 1 pm and Service at 2 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children's Hospital in Shirley’s memory.
